Christian Michaelmas (also known as the Feast of Michael and All Angels) usually close to the equinox and Rosh haShanah.
In China the Moon Festival is celebrated around (but not precisely) the time of the September equinox.
Judiasm observes the “high holy days” for 10 days just after the autumnal equinox. It starts with the first day of the Jewish calendar month, the new moon, to start the new year, Rosh ha Shanah. The shofar, the ram’s horn, is blown to open up the doors of the mind and the heart. The last day is Yom Kipur, day of atonement.
